Over and over again it's been shown that when homeless folks have the safety of a place, they can call their own, a private space they can return to at the end of the day, their mental health stabilizes and other aspects of their live more easily fall into line.

The construction costs for Friendship House, a transitional residence for people transitioning from homelessness back into a place of productivity in society has already been provided. However, the cost of landscaping, the money-saving solar electrical generating system and the appliances (washer, and dryer or the laundry area, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave oven and hot water heater for the kitchen are not yet covered. These costs add up to $33,000.
